With the twenty-fifth birthday issue of Mixmag (Happy Birthday To Us!) coming equipped with a searing seventy five minute mix from the legendary Laurent Garnier - who you may know from such club smashes as ‘Man With The Red Face’ and ‘Crispy Bacon’ - we thought it was time to highlight that the site really does offer some of the most soulful house, garage, techno and downtempo from the past two decades. So here it is: including a smattering of Garnier productions, this chart is one for those willing to dig a little deeper. And look out for the 15 track cover-mount mix from Laurent, strapped to the new issue of the magazine. It’s out this week and is stuck to what may well be the best cover in Mixmag’s 25 year history.
